Graduate Center Facilities
We have numerous rental spaces available for your corporate or social event, including computer labs for hands-on technology sessions, presentation spaces for lectures with or without audio/visual needs, and intimate conference rooms for small meetings.
2 EAST
Large, bright classroom with expansive river views and capacity for 50 theater style. Instructor/presenter PC workstation with DVD capability, digital projector, laser pointer, wireless internet, podium, conference phone, PA capabilities, moveable whiteboard, and space for catering.
2 NORTH
Large, theater style classroom with capacity for 50. The room is equipped with risers, some movable tables, instructor/presenter PC with DVD capability, digital projector; wireless internet a moveable whiteboard and space enough for break out sessions. The 2 North classroom is also home to a Linux Ubuntu repurposed computer lab consisting of six, 3+ year old Dell PCs. They use Linux Ubnuntu as an operating system and are Pentium 4s with 1GB of RAM. Some additional computers can be brought in as needed. The computers face a wall, not the main projector, so if a projector is needed, a portable unit would be needed (available upon request).
2 NORTHEAST
Seats 20 in an open rectangular set up and is technically equipped with an instructor/presenter PC workstation with DVD capability; digital projector, screen, laser pointer, wireless internet, and conference phone.
There is also ample space for catering and beautiful river views.
2 WEST
Equipped with mobile tables to accommodate seating for 30 in a variety of arrangements. Instructor/presenter PC workstation with DVD capability, digital projector, screen, whiteboard.
The CHILL ROOM
A versatile meeting space for up to 16 (or so) with tables, couches, whiteboard and ping pong table. TV with DVD/VCR available, but other than this and wireless internet, this space is technology-free (portable projectors welcome).
The MEDIA LOUNGE
A comfortable meeting space with 3 couches and seating for 10. Wireless internet connection available.
