Completed Programs

Since its inception in 1997, Marlboro College Graduate School has evolved to meet the changing needs of its students. This includes changes in programs and curricula. In the past, Marlboro College has offered the following programs:

Master's Degree Programs

Master of Science - Internet Engineering (MSIE) 1998-2009

Students mastered object-oriented programming to write sophisticated software applications with Web front ends. Selected course titles: Internet Programming Languages; Internet Technology; Data and Databases; Systems Development; Web Site Design and Implementation.

Master of Science - Management (MSM) 2004-2009

Core courses in accounting, finance and management with three focused tracks in Web Application Development, eMarketing or IT Project Management. Selected course titles: Foundations of Business Management; Project Management; Change Management; Legal and Ethical Issues; Conceptual Web Design; Web Infrastructures; Web Applications Development; Marketing and Management; Systems Architecture; Data and Databases; Systems Development, Business Systems Analysis and Redesign.

Master of Science - Internet Strategy Management (ISM) 1998-2004

Prepared students to lead overall development and management of an organization's Internet and Intranet strategy, offering comprehensive training which incorporated theoretical and strategic issues, technology, design, and marketing. Selected course titles: Foundations of Technology Management, Web site Design; Web Application Development; Network Systems; Legal and Ethical Issues of the Internet; Marketing and the Internet.

Master of Science - Systems Integration Management (SIM) 2002-2005

Comprehensive training in incorporating strategic and tactical issues, technology, information design and leadership strategies. Students designed, built and integrated applications and systems that achieve business objectives, including reducing costs, improving business processes, accelerating response time and improving services to end-users. Selected course titles: Business Process Analysis; Business Systems Re-engineering; Information Technologies; Project Management; Systems Development; Legal and Ethical Issues; Database Systems; Change Management.

Master of Science - Strategic Technology Management (STM) 2003-2005

Curriculum was based upon a solid foundation in business management and upon current practices as they evolved to accommodate Internet technologies, as well as traditional marketing and management skills and resources from the business discipline. Selected course titles: Foundations of Technology Management; Web site design; Marketing and the Internet; Legal and Ethical Internet Issues; Web Infrastructures; Project Management.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) 2002-2004

Pilot online MBA program based at the Center for Management and Internet Technology based in Dubai, India. Provide curriculum and academic oversight, appointed faculty, maintained student records, awarded earned credit, provided courseware, and monitored classes both online and through frequent visits.

Certificate Programs

Short-term programs offered at a reduced tuition. Coursework and faculty were the same as their master's degree counterparts.
